Membership with Dr. Jean Rettos, DO and Athens Direct Care has a number of benefits. Athens Direct Care offers mutually agreeable scheduling to reduce wait times in the office. We offer care to meet most of your healthcare needs.
\A number of services are included with membership for personalized, professional care.
Membership Benefits:
  • Mutually-agreeable appointment times and scheduling
  • Minimal wait time 
  • Annual exam is required 
  • 30 to 45 minute appointments 
  • 6 Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) appointments per year included. Other OMM appointments based on medical need
  • Ability to reach your physician 24/7 
  • Price transparency for low-cost options for medications and labs 
  • Complex care such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and kidney disease 
  • Video visits when medically appropriate 
  • Telephone visits when medically appropriate 
  • Care coordination with specailists and hospitals 
  • Patient advocacy (if desired by a member) 
  • Form completion (sports physicals, prior authorization, FMLA, or employer biometric screening)
  • Routine in-office testing - urinalysis, glucose, “rapid strep” test, pregnancy test, and EKG included 
  • Procedures - punch biopsy*, cryotherapy, excisional biopsy*, breathing treatment, minor laceration repair, shoulder injection, knee injection and ear irrigation 
  • Preventative Care: skin check, Pap test*
  • Diabetic foot care
          * Pathology for this service is not included. The price will be charged by the organization or                
             establishment doing the service.
